Previously, he served as the Business Head & Chief Investment Officer at DSP Pension Fund Managers and prior to that leading the Risk and Quantitative Analysis team at DSP Mutual Fund responsible for monitoring of portfolio risk and buy-side credit research on companies across various sectors. He also worked at IL&FS Asset Management Company and at S.R. Batliboi a member firm of EY. He is currently serving in volunteer capacity as a Director and Vice Chairman of the CFA Society India. Anil is a CFA Charter Holder (CFA Institute USA), Chartered Accountant (ICAI India) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (University of Mumbai).

He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI India) and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree.
