What is in DSP Nifty Bank ETF?

  1. The DSP NIFTY Bank ETF is an open-ended scheme replicating/ tracking Nifty Bank Index. It invests in 12 most liquid and large-cap bank stocks that form part of the Nifty Bank Index in the same proportion as that of the index.
  1. The Banking sector in the last few quarters has seen improvement in credit growth and net interest margins. Non-performing assets are at cyclicals lows. Balance sheets are in pink of health. Despite the recent run-up in prices, valuations are relatively favourable.
  2. Economies cannot flourish without banks. In fact, banking has been in existence since the 15th century and their need has only expanded with modernisation and globalisation.
  3. Banks currently contribute 24%* in the Nifty 50 index profits. The is highest profit pool held by any single sector.
  4. Nifty Bank index has earned 19.2%^ CAGR return in the last 23 years. It has outperformed the Nifty 50 Index 98%^ of the times on a 10-year rolling return basis.
  5. DSP Nifty Bank ETF invests in 12 large-cap bank stocks of the Nifty Bank Index, that constitutes 78% Private and 22% Public banks, providing an optimal diversification of the banking portfolio.
